Welcome.
I am a Highways Engineer with over 30+ years experience in Highways Maintenance.
I have lived in a number of places around the country, I originate from the West Midlands, commonly known as the "BLACK COUNTRY".
After leaving school, I went straight into further education and started an Ordinary National Diploma in Building, quickly followed by a Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering.
I currently work for a contractor, and mainly deal with Highways Asset data collection, data manipulation and logging techniques.
For my sins I also teach colleagues on using computers, database's and tablet computers.
I have a knowledge of a number of off the shelf databases, and have a reasonable self taught knowledge in the computing industry.
